One of our most challenging flood plain homes, this one starts approximately 33′ in the air.  Located just off the shores of Lake Travis, it also has one of the most beautiful views of the lake. So capturing the view was the easy part. Designing and engineering a home 33′ in the air, structurally sound and also appealing, was the challenge. Placing the pool under the home and creating the large arches to create interest contributed to the design’s success. Today, the home stands as one of the areas best example of solid engineering, construction, beauty and longevity in the flood plain.
