Spotlight on Subdivisions – Reserve River Ranches

The Reserve at Lake Travis is one of our favorite subdivisions for new homes in Austin.  Although it is a bit of a drive, the lots are larger than most subdivisions and the amenities are unparalleled. Now, the developers at The Reserve at Lake Travis have opened up a new community called The Reserve River Ranches.  These are much bigger lots (in fact, they even call them “ranchettes”), at 20-30 acres each, and offer all of the amenities at the Reserve at Lake Travis.  For those of us who value our privacy and the quiet lifestyle, these lots are ideal.  Located a little farther down Highway 71 but much closer to the main highway, this subdivision is sure to be popular among second-home and retired individuals because it is absolutely some of the most beautiful property we have seen!  Here is some information provided to us by the developer.  Special thanks to Jenna Heilman, Events & Membership Director at The  Reserve, for her all of her help.

“Reserve River Ranches is a 422 acre ranch that has parcels of 20 to 33 acres each for sale. Each Ranch parcel is along the Pedernales River with waterfront access. There is also 27 acres of parkland and a boat ramp plus – 2.78 miles of nature trails for ranch owners to enjoy. This beautiful property has natural springs and breathtaking grottos & waterfalls.

Enjoy fly fishing, hunting and horseback riding all on your own gentleman’s ranch. Each of our 20+ acre ranches includes either peaceful Pedernales riverfront or enchanting, spring fed grottos. And with miles of natural trails to explore the surrounding areas, you are truly able to connect with all the natural beauty the Texas Hill Country has to offer.

In addition, ownership of this natural gem includes membership to the award-winning Reserve at Lake Travis Marina, Equestrian Center, Cypress Club Lodge and Lazy River Pool.”
