On Saturday night, October 23, 2004, The Texas Association of Builders presented Jenkins Custom Homes with the following 2004 Star Awards:
- Best Custom Home – $500K – $1 Million
- Best Kitchen for a Home $500K – $1 Million
- Best Overall Interior Design for a Home $500K – $1 Million
The objective in the design of the winning home was to create a countryside Tuscan villa that incorporates unique architectural elements typically found in Italian architecture. These elements included sandstone and brick arches, travertine flooring, a landscaped courtyard, and a large hand-carved stone fireplace.
Names of winners were announced at the awards presentation, which is a highlight of the Sunbelt Builders Show Building Solutions Conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort. The Star Awards Gala took place in the Grapevine Ballroom. As winner of these awards, Jenkins Custom Homes is recognized as one of a “best in class” in the entire state of Texas.
