On Saturday night, April 8, 2006, The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin presented Jenkins Custom Homes with the Award for Best Custom Home in 3 categories. These awards were presented at the Max Award Gala, held at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas. Jenkins won the 2006 Max Awards for:
- Best Custom Home $750K – $1M – Residence in Wild Basin area
- Best Custom Home $500K – $750K – Residence in Lakeway
- Best Custom Home $350K – $500K – Residence in Dripping Springs
