On Friday night, November 17, 2006, at a Star Awards Gala likened to the “Oscars for the building industry” the Texas Association of Builders named Jenkins Custom Homes the “2006 Custom Builder of the Year”. This is the highest honor bestowed by the Texas Association of Builders and includes competitors from all over the state.
The highly coveted Star Awards are given annually to recognize excellence in building, remodeling or development. A record 629 entrants statewide submitted their best work for consideration in this year’s competition.
In addition to winning Builder of the Year for 2006, Jenkins took home the award for Best New Custom Home $500K-$1M, Best Kitchen $500K-$1M, Best Overall Interior Design for a home $500K-$1M and Best Outdoor Project. This new round of awards adds to the growing list of over 25 awards recognizing Jenkins’ exceptional home design and building quality.
