Jenkins Custom Homes won a number of awards for this Texas Tuscan inspired design including Best Custom Home, Best Kitchen, and Best Overall Interior Design by the Texas Association of Builders. The objective in the design of the home was to create a sprawling villa that incorporates unique architectural elements typically found in European architecture.
Situated atop a sprawling site that gave rise to its alluring aesthetic, this glimmering Lakeway, Texas, estate exudes a timeless air. What’s surprising, however, is that while it looks like it’s been gracing the terrain for decade upon decade, 105 Golden Bear Cove is a relative newbie on the block. Built for the Flintrock Parade of Homes by Austin-based Jenkins Custom Homes, the Spanish-Italian styled home sports modern-day elements while encapsulating every intricacy of a centuries-old country estate. “The location and features truly make it a dream home,” says Shan Jenkins, president of Jenkins Homes. [break]The elegance, Jenkins notes, starts at the front door. “The towering entry with a hand-carved limestone surround is welcoming and offers a taste of the luxury inside,” he says. Although it started as a subtly hued Spanish-style structure, the team later integrated more stonework and infused it with a Tuscan touch.
