Jenkins won their first award in 2002 at the Star Awards Gala for Best Custom Home in Texas. Since then, they’ve won numerous local and state-wide awards including the highly-coveted 2006 “Custom Builder of the Year” in Texas.
“Winning awards is exciting but also humbling,” stated Shan Jenkins, Jenkins Custom Homes. “It makes you extremely grateful of the recognition while still cognizant of how much you still aspire to improve. I suppose that is the two-edged sword of every small business owner. We are, however, extremely appreciative of the Texas Association of Builders for this and for the outstanding job they do for our industry,” said Jenkins.
