We are NOW HIRING the following positions within the next few weeks:


Applicant should have a college degree, and a minimum 2-5 years experience in sales & marketing, preferably in the construction industry (Girl Scout cookies do NOT count).  What We Need:

We need a person with drive, a passion for educating & informing potential clients about our unique and specialized services, a love for getting to know people (a natural curiosity), an eternal optimist and “life of the party” personality, a commitment to excellence and integrity in all dealings, and a high level of energy and enthusiasm every day on the job.  You MUST be excited about, and able to do the following:

  • Identify with clients and provide them with the information they need to understand our process
  • Motivate potential clients to want to know more
  • Speak to small groups (Realtors) about our process and motivate them to want to work with us
  • Develop a systematic customer relationship process that includes social media, phone calls, emails, special events, and other proven methods that focus on new leads.
  • Manage our social media campaign. Be able to identify great posts, and schedule them appropriately (training provided). Write articles for our blog from time to time.
  • Produce professional graphics for use on website or as flyers
  • Organize marketing events (seminars, socials, etc) and associated budgets
  • Develop and maintain a systematic annual marketing plan & associated budget
  • Maintain an online CRM database on all prospects and customers
  • Provide weekly “To Do” list and “Sales Report” to executive management at weekly Sales Meeting/Staff Meeting
  • Be self-motivated and confident. This position will be very entrepreneurial, i.e. you will be solely responsible for the sales and marketing of the company (with management support).

Applicant should have a 4-year college degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Custom Home Building. The right person will have an eye for details and be a go-getter, have a thorough understanding of the building process and be a good listener.

We need a person with drive, a passion for home building, and a commitment to excelling in the science, methods, and materials of construction.  You MUST be excited about, and able to do the following:

  • Build a quality custom home, start to finish, without oversight.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule from start of construction to occupancy.
  • Be first to the jobsite and last to leave.
  • Take responsibility for jobsite cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Maintain database of trade partners and vendor contact information.
  • Distribute plans, specs, schedules and related documents and correspondence to appropriate parties.
  • Work with clients, be willing to explain everything to them, and provide them with an awesome experience.
  • Distribute change orders to vendors and trade partners.  Make sure they are working off of current information.
  • Communicate with trade partners, vendors, and project superintendent about scheduled deliveries, confirmations and follow-up calls.
  • Compare invoices against purchase orders.
  • Coordinate the routine scheduling of third party inspections.
  • Coordinate material credits and returns.
  • Know proper installation methods and materials within 2 months.
  • Know the International Residential Code.
  • You must have a reliable truck capable of hauling misc. construction materials.


We are expanding and also will be hiring within the next several months:

Estimator & Procurement Manager 

We need a very bright and efficient person with exceptional organization skills and experience estimating projects in the construction industry with Quickbooks/Excel and job costing experience to estimate projects, manage budgets, procure products and award bids, and run & understand financial reports.  This individual will:

  • Estimate Luxury Home Construction Projects
  • Enter Estimates into our Online tracking tool
  • Get bids for each line item in the estimate
  • Compare bids to the budget, follow up with vendors, and make sure bids are apples to apples
  • Award bids
  • Produce Financial Reports for the Prez.
  • Be an ambassador of the company to outside vendors & suppliers
  • In a nutshell, you will oversee and insure that all projects are profitable and we make money.  If any of these duties look foreign to you, then you need not apply for this position.

Architectural Designer/Draftsperson. Applicant should have a college degree and experience using Revit (as well as AutoCAD).  College experience counts.  A degree in Architecture is preferred. Candidate must be able to sketch and render. Director of First Impressions/Executive Assistant. Currently seeking an “UBER-organized” (way beyond normal!) individual to organize our President and CEO’s calendar and be the first voice/face an individual hears or sees at Jenkins. A big smile is a must for this job, along with an absolute passion about being organized and on track. Technical skills are a must in this position, as it requires scheduling, entering calls into a database, and posting to Facebook/Twitter regularly.

Organized part-time Bookkeeper/CPA. We need a very bright and efficient person with exceptional organization skills and experience keeping books in the construction industry with Quickbooks and job costing experience to generate purchase orders, pay invoices, generate checks, balance and close the books, run & understand financial reports, and file associated paperwork. A 4-year degree is strongly preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of higher education is required. The hours are Monday – Thursday (Fridays off), 9 am – 3 pm with all school school holidays off.

Project Coordinator. Seeking a fun and fabulous candidate with exceptional organizational skills. We are looking for someone who can keep client’s selection schedules for them, help keep them on track, hold vendors accountable, help with selections when necessary, use project software to keep track of schedules, report to management, and do it all with charm and finesse. This very special person must have a degree from a 4-year major university. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end residential construction, experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, a proven track record keeping and staying organized and on task, and have some residential experience. Experience in the hospitality industry could also be a plus; although, this candidate must be able to be firm while still being polite.

Lead Architect/Designer. Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Residential Design, experience in the Luxury market a plus, and should have a thorough understanding of LEED principles. A degree in Architecture is preferred. CAD experience is required, and candidate must be able to sketch and render. This full-time position entails completing detailed CAD drawings for our homes and pools and working with our clients.

Multi-tasking Estimator/Procurement Manager. Applicant should have a minimum 10 years experience estimating construction projects, 3 of which must be residential construction. The right person will also have experience doing take-offs and ordering materials for residential construction projects. The right person will also be intelligent, hard-working, client-focused, and a great communicator.
