Rough Hollow - Where Luxury is Built in Austin Texas2007-10-15 15:57:00 -0500
As of 2007, the hottest subdivision in which to build a home in Austin is Rough Hollow. Why? Because it’s the last subdivision with property lots for new home building with waterfront views on Lake Travis AND within minutes of downtown Austin. As Austin moves further and further out, it is harder to find waterfront lots without making a ridiculous commute. However, Lakeway has become the new “it” suburb where everyone wants to live. In Lakeway, one can find shopping for every need and want, including Austin’s new “Hill Country Galleria”, the largest mall in Austin. There is the well-known “Hills Country Club” (located adjacent to Rough Hollow), and Flintrock Falls, a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course where pro tournaments are held each year. Among the approved custom home builders in Rough Hollow, Jenkins Custom Homes was one of the first on the list and one of the first to start building luxury custom homes there. Being a Parade Home Builder in Rough Hollow for the HBA’s 2008 Spring Parade also gave them one of the best lot choices in the subdivision. “What makes Rough Hollow so great is the views of Lake Travis,” says Shan Jenkins of Jenkins Custom Homes. Waterfront property has always been a good investment, especially in Austin, Texas. Now, those who can afford it can also enjoy their investment. |
